INTRODUCTION

Established in 1999-2000, IAAN School of Mass Communication is a more than 20 years old leading college of Journalism and Mass Communication at graduate and postgraduate level. Now, keeping in view the increasing demand of trained and qualified teachers, IAAN is proud to establish and launch an Education School named ‘IAAN School of Education’ from 2021 onwards which will be an extended centre of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University, popularly known as Agra University.

IAAN management always believes in providing quality education. That is the reason IAAN has a very rich alumni of more than 1500 media professionals spread all over India and also abroad. Management of IAAN is very much confident that IAAN will be able to deliver quality education in the School of Education so that IAAN may produce more and more professionally qualified teachers who may teach the future of our country.

IAAN School of Education is being established with the sole view of imparting training to inspiring to-be teachers or pre-service teachers for various opportunities in education and related fields. We are sure that the Faculty who will comprise top professionals from the world of education will effectively handle our well balanced curriculum divided into theory and practical.

Our immense success in the Media field as an institution has given us the right direction and the necessary courage to come up with this new institution. The college will run under ‘Prabhu Dayal Kasere Charitable Trust’, which is registered with the Govt. of NCT and is formed for promotion of education and social services.

COURSE:

B.Ed - Bachelors in Education (Two Years)

Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University

ELIGIBILITY:

Bachelor or Master Degree in Science / Social Science / Humanity (min 50%) Or min 55% in B.E. / B.Tech. with specialization in Science and Mathematics & 10+2 (min 60%) from any UGC recognised University. Eligibility will be relaxed for categories other than General. T & C apply as per the university guidelines.

WHY PURSUE B.Ed?

A B.Ed qualified candidate can get appointed in government, as well as, a private school with a good salary package. The candidate can also get a job at Secondary or Higher Secondary Schools as a Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) or Post Graduate Teacher (PGT).

Further, if one wants to go for higher studies in this field, then they can enroll for the Masters of Education course (M.Ed). The job prospects that are available for the qualified candidates are school teachers, private tutors, counselors, education researcher, online tutor, language teacher Etc.

MANAGING DIRECTOR

 Dr. Anuj Garg, popularly known as Media Guru Anuj, is the Chairman and Managing Director of IAAN Group. Inc. and engaged in media and education activities from more than last two decades. He has received appreciation from the Honourable Former President of India Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. He is also a well known educationist and media professional. 

He has been a Delegate to the World Hindi Conference on behalf of the Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India at Johannesburg South Africa. He has been a Delegate to the Cannes, Berlin, Norway and Goa Film Festivals. He Has been honoured to be invited to attend the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony of Nobel Laureate Kailash Satyarthi & Malala Yousufzai at Oslo Norway 2014. He has written a book ‘Khuli Kitab’ on his experiences on Indian Democratic System.

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR

 

Ms. Aakriti Garg is passionate about the education field and wants to contribute towards taking it to a new level in our country. She believes that quality education proves to be a powerful tool in the development of the society.

 She has useful experience in the field of education both at the administration and teaching level. She is presently pursuing Ph.D in Education from Jaipur National University. She has pursued MA (Edu) from IGNOU, B.Ed from I.P University and B.A. Prog from Kirori Mal College, DU.
