Limited Seats for Academic Year 2024

Being a Specialised Media College that has been teaching only Media Courses for the past 25 years under Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication, this year also the College has:

1) 30 Seats for Bachelors in Mass Communication Degree Programme

2) 30 Seats for Masters in Mass Communication Degree Programme

3) 15 Seats for Post Graduate Diploma Programme

4) 15 Seats for Under Graduate Diploma Programme

 

2024 Admission Procedure

The Admission Procedure is as follows:

1) Student fills and submits the complete online Admission Application Form. The form can be accessed here

2) The Admission Department will go through your form and check against the eligibility requirements, UGC seat quotas (SC, ST, OBC, sports, armed forces) and check your marksheets. Eligibility requirements for each course are given below.

3) Students who satisfy the UGC requirments will then be invited for an Interview. Given that this is a specialised media college, the Interview Round is a crucial part of the admission process for the past 25 years. Each and every student is personally interviewed by the Senior Management of the College to ensure that only serious and deserving candidates are selected, specially since seats are very limited.

4) Students who pass the interview will be offered admission to the College.

5) Students submit their registration fees to secure their seat. In case a student fails to secure their seat in the alloted time, the seat will be automatically offered to the next candidate in line, as per the selection and waiting list.

Given that we are a specialised media college, focussing only on Media - CUET Exams are not compulsory to gain admission in the College. Our Admission Procedures apply. 

Classes for Academic Year 2024 - 2025 will begin in August-September 2024 as per UGC norms. 

 

College Visit

Prospective students, parents and interested candidates are encouraged to visit the College physically during admissions. Physical interaction with prospective students gives the College a chance to better understand the candidate, their motivation and story and aspirations. We want to make sure that the student is the right fit for the College as all our student body specialises in media, and it also gives the prospective students the opportunity to see if the College is the right match for them.

Ways to Apply

     I. ONLINE APPLICATION

                   1) Go to www.iaan.org

                   2)  Click on "Apply Online" at Home Page

                   2)  Fill and complete the online form as mentioned

                   3)  Click on "Pay Now"

                   4)  Make a payment of Rs 500 online

                   5)  Submit the application form

An application fee of Rs. 500/- is payable when submitting the Admission Application Form. Students can either submit the payment on the application form portal link or submit the form first and then use the QR Code given next to the admission form to make the payment using UPI.  

    II      OFFLINE APPLICATION 

Students can visit the College and get the physical admission application form from the Admission Desk - fill it and submit it to the Admission Department along with the application fees.

Please Note :   The Rs 500/- fees for Admission Application is non-refundable.

1. Documents for Bachelors: Class 10 and 12 Marksheets, Aadhaar, Migration Certificate 

2. Documents for Masters: Class 12 and Bachelor's Graduation Marksheets, Aadhaar and Migration Certificate

3. Under Graduate Diploma: Class 10 and 12 Marksheets and Aadhaar

4. Post Graduate Diploma: Class 12 and Bachelor's Graduation Marksheets and Aadhaar

5. GAP Certificate if applicable

6. OBC, SC, ST Certificate if applicable

 

Eligibility Requirements

 1. Masters of Mass Communication (2 year Degree Course):  Bachelors Graduation in any discipline from a Recognised University

2. Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication (3 year Degree Course): 10 + 12 Certificate in any stream from a Recognised School Board.

4. Post Graduate Diploma (1 year Course):  Bachelors Graduation in any discipline from a Recognised University

2. Under Graduate Diploma (1 year) :  10 + 12 Certificate in any stream from a Recognised School Board.

Please Note:  Students appearing in Final Year Examinations at the School (Class 12) and University (Bachelors) level are also eligible to Apply. Such students must pasout and graduate before September 2024.
